Hey there! I'm Fabio Michelan, a Design & Innovation Leader with over 17 years of experience. I'm passionate about design, technology, innovation, and problem-solving. These passions bring a unique perspective to my work. I've worked with leading companies, from digital startups to large corporations. I even started my own digital agency. Currently, I'm Head of UX & AI Innovation at Google. I develop technology solutions for companies like Coca-Cola, Carrefour, Nubank, Starbucks, and Volkswagen. I help them find out good opportunities to improve their business through great design. Over the years, I have led Design teams at Bayer, SumUp, DogHero, and Copag, and participated in hundreds of development projects for some of the world's leading companies. I have a bachelor's degree in Advertising and a postgraduate degree in Marketing from ESPM. I also hold a UX Certification from the Nielsen Norman Group and I'm a certified Cloud Digital Leader by Google Cloud. Throughout my career, I've focused on creating user-centered designs. I strive to provide seamless and intuitive experiences. I have deep knowledge and experience in digital product design, research, usability, and prototyping. I've also worked in strategy consultancy, advising companies on design strategy, organizational design, career development, and measuring UX. My work has been recognized with App of the Day and Editor's Choice awards in the Apple Store and Google Play. It has also been featured in various publications and news sources. In my free time, I pursue personal design projects and enjoy sharing my thoughts. I founded DesignerTrack, a platform to help designers succeed in their careers, and DesignerFlash, a design subscription service. I love creating new design content and mentoring aspiring designers. I've spoken at several universities and volunteer as a mentor at ADPList. When I'm not working, I enjoy exploring new places and spending time with family and friends. I was born in Santos and now live in São Paulo, Brazil.
